Tourism Resort at Takhtbhai Archaeological Remains

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BOIT) in collaboration with Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) intends to invite investor for setting up a modern International Standard tourism resort at the base of Takhtbhai Archeological Ruins (Buddhist remains).

Project Details:

  • The land approximately 54 Kanals will be made available to the investor on long lease. The following facilities will be part of the scheme.

 

  1. Hotel, Restaurant (Chalet type to blend in to the heritage).
  2. Visual Tour Theater.
  3. Art Gallery.
  4. Art and Craft Shops.
  5. Meditation Center (for Buddhist).
  6. Hill Climbing.
  7. Health Club.
  8. Recreation Park.
  9. Parking Area.
  10. Emergency Medical facilities.
  11. Back up Power Generation facility.
  12. Restaurant, Tuck Shops and Rest Places for day tourist.
  13. Any other facilities that the investor may like to propose with prior approval of the lesser.

 

Cost of the Project is estimated as PKR532 Million

EIA Study of the project is completed and submitted by TCKP to EPA for approval.

Government Facilitation:

  • Land approximately 54 Kanals will be provided by the Provincial Government on long lease under lease policy 2016.

 

  • All relevant NOC's from the concerned Departments of the Provincial Government.
